Big chair!!! Oh yes...HUGE chair!!! My Uncle loves "ODD" things....he loves to search for "ODD" things.....and what did he find??? A ginormous (as Chelsi would say) CHAIR! SO what's a Mommy to do.....put her 3 month old little girl into this big chair for a PHOTO-OP of course! (Wink-Wink!)
Now our girl LOVES to fish! At any given moment she will call her papaw and say,'Papaw....would you like to come and fish with Daddy & me ???" Of course he hops into his car (with Mamaw in tow) and heads for our house....only stopping for the bait that Chelsi requested for him to bring! :) Chelsi's fishing adventures merit an entire post....so that is another one for the future.........
These pics are of her VERY first catch!!!
Dress up???? Oh yes! She was in a dance routine to the music "Walk the Llama" and I whipped up this costume in a blink of an eye....well...she loved it so much that she wore it for Halloween that year! (I LOVE the face she's making in the last photo.....she was getting tired of smiling and said her jaws hurt.....so she decided to do this instead!) hee-hee!
Carving pumpkins end up being an all day event at our house! I mean it! She usually has several to carve.....and they MUST be Masterpieces....
Sets very high standards for herself!!!
Who'd A Thunk It???
This particular year.....there was only one pumpkin.......and she got very tempted by that inviting pile of leaves over in the yard.......so she quickly "helped" carve that pumpkin...and off to the leaf pile she ran!
EASTER!!! Such fun! Although she hates tights....and itchy dresses.....she would humor me on Easter!!! SO....you talk about snapping pictures.....I was over the top!
More of Easter........
Still more of Easter!!!
She knows what the significance of Easter is.....the "REAL" meaning...HE AROSE!!!
So after we have done our Resurrection Eggs kit & story and all that really good stuff.....it is off to color the "other eggs".
We ALWAYS color at least 5 dozen.....(been known to color more.......but who's counting ???)

Each egg is a priceless work of art.........
First, she dips each one into the dyes....then they dry...then she hand-paints every single one ..carefully and with much precision!
One Easter, she decided that since our entire family was coming to our house for Easter Dinner....she would set up shop! Oh yes...... she sold these babies for One Dollar each!!!
......did they sell you ask???? Are you kidding??? She made a fortune! (hee-hee) Thanks to my sweet family for supporting our artistic daughter!!! xoxoxo!!!
And....although.....this process is a painstakingly long one.....there is still time to STRIKE A POSE for the camera!

Now this collage is near and dear to my heart........ I was so very distraught this morning...mixed emotions...it was her FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!
Oh dear......did I really have to send my little sidekick off for many hours on end every single day????
Well......she was ready.....and very excited....so she chose her lunch box....and her clothes.....and her shoes....(even then at the ripe old age of 5...she was a FASHIONISTA!(And yes...she changed clothes one time before being sure.....of what statement she wanted to make that first day of Kindergarten......hee-hee!)
She decided that Cheer-leading was the bomb! So....she cheered for 3 years....while in public school.
She was there for the outfit and the pom-poms and performing!!!!! .....What game?? Who won???
Her favorite color is PINK! She loves PINK! SO when her daddy found this PINK HELLO KITTY TV....it was a must have for her b-day that year!
And I will leave this part TWO series of my walk down memory lane.....with the fact that she loves HATS! Any kind of hat! She even wore them in the bathtub.....(remember the green St, Patty's day hat in the bathtub from Part 1 ???
She also LOVES the Sky Boxes at Bristol Motor Speedway! Good food and great view of the track....yep...I've got a race-fan on my hands! Wonder who taught her that......Daddy?????? hee-hee!
OK....Part two complete.....Part Three....
coming soon!!!

What a fun post - That is why I love scrapbooking so much - AND blogging, of course!!!
I love the stroll down memory lane, how neat to see Chelsi at different ages. What a cutie she was and has grown into a beautufil young woman. What a great idea to paint and sell the eggs.
Here I am!! Sorry, I've had a nasty cold these last couple of days. I've been lucky enough to have snow days but I'm dying on the couch!
I have a good story for you though... I just woke up from a "nap" hehe and I had a dream about you! You came and visited me and then we went shopping at Target. I wanted to buy all these things for summer but you kept saying "Amy, do you really need those?..." haha You were like my mom! It was so real!!
Love the trip down memory lane...that huge chair is awesome and Chelsi is a sweetie!
HUGS!!
It was fun strolling down memory lane with you and listening to "My Daughter's Eyes" As a mom of a 23 year old I can tell you the relationship only gets better! God is so good!
What treasures you have in these memories!
Thank you so much for your sweet comments. The Lord has certainly blessed you with the gift of encouragement! Thank you for blessing me! I am so thankful to have "met" you!
And there is no way I would let you come by today! I just couldn't bear making you sick! :) We'll have coffee another day! :)
Lots of Love,
K
