~Brown Cows & Popsicles~

Bless her heart.....fever, sore throat, runny nose, aches and all came on so suddenly! It wasn't the Valentine's Day she would have chosen...but it is the one she got...!!!

So, yesterday she made the most of not feeling well....and rested on the couch.....watching her favorite shows ....and would occasionally ask for a banana Popsicle...or her personal favorite..."Mayfield Brown Cows".

Comfort Food! Sure does help a sore throat!
So here are a few pics from our Valentine's Day yesterday.....

Daisies are my absolute FAVORITE flower!!! I love them because they SMILE!

Now on funny note.......

Reading glasses have become somewhat of a laughing matter at our home.....being that Chuck and I both NEED them to read most things...we must find humor in our "old age".....hee-hee!

So.... a co-worker gave him these neat little Reader Rescue Glasses for Valentine's Day so that he could read his Card from me!!! What a friend!!! ;)

They are neat little things....small enough to fit into a credit card slot in your wallet...however....painful to wear...they squeeze onto your nose to stay put! ha-ha!

And.....it worked!!! He could see it and read the sweet words!!! hahaha!!!!

I love you, Sweetie.....hee-hee ;)

Oh..so sorry to hear you precious valentine wasn't feeling well. Glad to hear you gave her plenty of TLC.

What a sweet gift from your husbands co-worker. Funny how my hubby and I are in the same boat...what WOULD we do without reading glasses!!! :-)

Get better Chelsi.
I love the folding reading glasses(hee, hee), we are needing them around here.
We are laughing at how we should be getting some bi-focals, LOL.

Oh, I am so sorry, Denise! I know you are taking excellent care of Chelsi and loving her thoroughly as you always do! I will continue to pray for her!
My sweet Meg is in the same yucky boat! Popsicles and movies is the order of our day, too!
Lots of Love,
Kimberly

Hope your feeling better Chelsi. What a lot of nice valentine cards you got. That is funny about the glasses! Now that I've had my eye surgery, I can see close great but not so well on the distance (if its not one thing its another) the doc says he can do a 30 sec laser to adjust it, though. Have a great weekend!
