I'm not quite sure I am ready for her to do this yet....!
Our cousin, who is a very talented artist....custom painted daisies all over the room.....(not all of them are shown here....she was not quite finished when I took these pics.....she painted her name above her bedroom door...and on the large canvas shown here...)
Chelsi chose this bedding, all the colors...and decor all by herself in first grade!!
SO we got busy and painted....and it was done....
SHE LOVED IT!
(Until now.....that is!!!)
So, now that she is a "tween"....soon to be "Teen"......she says it is time to "Change it up"
I just love a new project.....anyone who knows me at all...knows I am always changing ...re-doing...rearranging...something in our home!
So...it is off in search of new bedding.....new paint colors.....and new accessories for my girl!!
All her choices.....I am just along for the ride!

We matched the paints...*Check*
Now.....we will get busy and redo this Tween's bedroom ...with a completely NEW LOOK!
So....if you miss me for a few days....you'll know why.....we are working like little beavers to get this project completed!

Chelsea's changes this past yr are amazing. She SUDDENLY grew up!Such a beautiful girl:)

Oh my....my heart just a little to see how Chelsi is growing up...but she is growing up to be such a lovely young lady and I know you must be so proud. You sure gave her a princess room...and I have no doubt the new look will be just as fabulous. We are in the midst of creating Lia's "big girl room"...I spent the day stripping paint from the antique dresser we bought...and waiting for the bedding to arrive...it's very exciting!!

It happens all to fast! Ready or not, there they grow!
They do grow up far to fast. The photos of Chelsi's old room are the same colors as Morgan's room now. To funny! Cant wait to see new photos of her tween room.
What a cute room I know it will be hard to change. I can't wait to see how it changes. Something tells me we might see some Jonas brothers stuff in there. :)

Your comment last night made me smile, a bit home sick and inspired me~ here is why~ you have a beautiful way of writing that draws someone in (makes me smile), You are so much like my frineds and family in TN (made me home sick- I am now in FL, but TN is my home state) and I have the first pair of Bella's Slippers that I am going to frame (your inspiration).
