I guess you could call this the "Bluebird of happiness"....because ....right after I posted about the rain...the clouds all floated away...and the sun came back!!
AND I WAS HAPPY!!!!
This little bird visited us from time to time today as we were staining the decks. He was so pretty!!!!
I think we were disturbing his deck posts!!! The birds like to sit on our deck posts and sing each morning and throughout the day! I love it!
He will soon see that we were just giving his favorite post a "makeover"! hee-hee!
We got lots accomplished today....we laughed all day reminding each other that we were too old to be doing this "home maintenance" stuff anymore! (It seems that since we have both passed the ripe old age of 40...we ache in places that never ached before!) hee-hee!

Chelsi comes back home tomorrow.....she has been on a camping trip with her best friend since Thursday. We have missed her terribly......but we've talked to her a couple of times and she has had the most amazing time ever with Allie and her family!
I cannot wait to hear all about everything they did during their trip!
