OH NO RAIN!!!!

OH yes...you guessed it......after working SOOOOOOOOOOOO hard yesterday on two docks.....IT RAINED last night!!!

Now, we did check the weather forecasts for the next several days.....and everything was favorable!!! *(The stain is supposed to "Cure" for 24 hours before being subjected to water....namely RAIN!)

So......here is what I woke up seeing as I looked out our patio doors in our bedroom! Oh dear.....I was just sick!

Fortunately, we will only need to reapply the flat surfaces....as the vertical surfaces were unscathed! Oh and I am so glad about that....because it takes FOREVER to stain 4 sides of each picket! And.....we have a ton of pickets!!!! Whew.....two docks complete.....still have the decks on our house to go! There are more pickets that I care to count....ugh!!!! Oh the joys of home maintenance! hee-hee!

Now, let me just tell you that my sweet SMART handsome hubby decided to clean our ramp...(he bleached and pressure washed it all day long while I worked on staining the docks...)

And of course the rain "ENHANCED" his labors from yesterday!!! (*humph!)

It really does look very nice and white (when it is dry)... sweetie....Thanks for all of your hard work!!!

So, I am now......

"Praying for SUNNY DAYS" !!!!
