We're home and it is all over! She did great!
Our dental hygienist is a dear friend, and she knew Chelsi was very apprehensive about the extractions....so she scheduled the "TV Room" for her!
So, when we arrived....they took Chelsi on in....and handed the TV remote to her.......as you might guess, my little animal lover quite promptly tuned into "Animal Planet"! hee-hee!
The procedure took about 45 minutes.....but the entire time...Beth (The hygienist) was coming out into the waiting area and keeping me posted on how Chelsi was doing! This is the very first time Chelsi has ever been anesthetized for a dental procedure...so she was a bit unsure about how the injections would be. However, she did just fine! They offered Nitrous Oxide to her...but opted to just have the injections.....she likes to be in total control.....and is sure she would not like how the gas would make her "Feel".
Anyway, after about an hour total time....Chelsi and Dr Shipley came walking out together...smiling! (I am thinking.....this is a good sign!!!) And she was just fine! All 3 teeth were strategically placed into a pretty little glittery green "Tooth-shaped" box......for her to bring home.
And off we went!
She is now upstairs watching a movie that one of her friends brought by our house last night for her.....and she called Chuck at the office and requested "Cookies & Cream" Ice-cream for dinner! hee-hee!
She is still numb so I am sure when that wears off....she may have some pain......but we have meds for that as well!
Thank you all so much for lifting our Chelsi in prayer today! She (and I ) really felt them! I love all of you!!!
Have a wonderful evening!!!
Blessings, Denise

I am so glad Chelsi's procedure is completed and that she is doing well so far! I will pray for her and her healing! How lucky she is to have such caring parents. She just seems like a lovely young lady!
So glad to hear Chelsi's appointment went well. I had three crowns done just yesterday. I also had a TV room so it wasn't so bad!

I am so glad - I was praying!!! Now I'll take your prayers next Wednesday - my turn!!!
3 molars being pulled sounds awful. Sounds like she was brave. Glad to hear she had an enjoyable dinner of ice cream.
My latest blog post is about Evangelism ideas at Easter. I'm telling everyone about it, because I think that Easter and Christmas are awesome times of the year to spread the word about Jesus.
Glad she's doing well! :) Hugs to you my friend!
