Just Stuff......

 

Ok...I know I know....I never update my blog anymore!  I really intend to...and sit down to do it...but then, I get distracted by the icons on my desktop....and I start clickin' on 'em...and I seem to run outta time to update....so.....today...I skipped every single one of them......and here I am!!!  In all my glory!  hee hee ...NOT!

SO...what's been up with us, you ask???? LOTS...and you knew that!!! 

First and foremost...my poor precious little girl....and endured this horrible raging FLU for 10 days!  She is slowly getting back to normal....still has a horrific cough...and about half a voice....and very very weak!  But she's such an independent chick....she'll be back to normal in no time!  Her week is full of fun stuff...and I can guarantee she will not miss another week of her "dailies"!!!  IT absolutely killed her last week to miss a ski trip, Taekwondo classes (x2), working out at her favorite gym (x3), going out to the movies with the youth group from church, a very fun sleepover, celebrating Valentine's Day in style...*wink*.... and a much anticipated dissection lab with a bunch of her homeschool besties! 

Anyway, she is determined to "DO IT ALL" this week!  She's not missin' a thing...she says!  AHEM....we'll see....and really to be honest....she probably will do it all....that's how my chick works....all or nothing!  Funny thing is....she has a few events that are overlapping each other in times...on the same day....so it will be very interesting to see how she works all that out!  And, yes, if anyone can....it is CHELSI!  :)

So....here are a few pics just because I cannot do a post without any....

Rosie had a day at the spa.......her valentine's day treat!  :)

We had a horrific storm!  OMG!  It came with tornado warnings....and the full gamut!

These clouds were so scary....they were swirling around in so many different directions....and Chelsi still swears it was a "wall cloud" !

We survived...but had a lot of wind....and lots of debris all over the yard and driveway.

And...I had a birthday.....and turned 29 again!!!!  oh yea....I love being 29! :)

My sweet cousin....(we swear we are sisters!!!) had these pretty flowers delivered on my birthday!  It was such a nice surprise....and I was not the only one who got a surprise....the florist delivery guy...arrived at the door....and let me just set up the scene for you....I was in the kitchen...on the phone with the Pediatrician's office telling them that I WAS bringing Chelsi in today...that she was Dying with the flu....and we'd be there ASAP....when the door bell rang...I am in the kitchen wearing my gown....and well....if you know the floor plan of our home....you know I am totally busted...and cannot get anywhere to get on any clothes....without him seeing me.  so.......off I go tot he door in all my glory!  yikes!  Anyway....I crack open the door just enough to thank him.... grab the flowers..... and run before he is totally freaked out by the "old woman" that just answered the door in her gown!  :O  !!!!

Ya'll know how I heart Willow Tree angels....so these were the sweetest gifts!!!

I received so many sweet cards from precious people....(all of them are not pictured here.....by the way!)

So between nursing my sick girl back to health...celebrating another 29th birthday....and rearranging our life's schedule to accommodate the flu.....I have also been doing lots and lots of this......LAUNDRY!  ugh!!!  How only 3 people in a house can dirty up so many clothes is beyond me!  :/

And the real issue I have is this:  When I put all matching socks into the washing machine and then into the dryer.....I still have this many that are missing their mate!  I truly do believe our washer has an enormous appetite!

So lastly....I will leave you with  a few random things about me......that you may or may not know.....hee hee.....I'm such a transparent person!!!!

#1   I'm a hugger and toucher....and kisser!!!  If you are within 100 ft...beware....I'll get a hug!  Be warned! ;)

#2  I heart tomatoes!!!  Oh how I heart tomatoes!!!  Did I mention that I heart tomatoes??? Well I do!

#3  I am a girlie girl....I love all things that glam & glitter!  .....Make-up...perfume...coach purses....and clogs with heels!

#4  I heart music!  All kinds of music!!!  Any kind of music...well almost.  Music is playing very loudly in our home most of the time...and what am I listening to right now???  LIFEHOUSE...."Whatever it Takes"!  Some great stuff!!!  :)

#5  My family is the single most important thing in my entire life.....second only to GOD of course!  :)

#6  I never ever miss my nail appointment!  Nope...not gonna do it...wouldn't be prudent!!!  hee hee!  I heart my red nails....and my hubby does too! ;)

#7  And, lastly....it is not even possible to navigate my busy, productive, crazy, whacked out, wonderfully blessed, fun life without daily mega doses of good ole Diet Mountain Dew!!!  Oh yea!  :)
